    Dr Nav Chana MBE

    Non-Executive Director, Interim Chair

    As former Chair of the National Association of Primary Care he co-led the development of the ‘primary care home’ model the learning from which contributed to the development of primary care networks. Dr Chana has had a varied career in healthcare education; formerly a Director of Education Quality (DEQ) for Health Education South London, and prior to that the Postgraduate Dean for General Practice and Community Based Education in London.

    Ben Travis

    Chief Executive

    Ben is passionate about achieving the right balance between acute and community care, health equity, and system integration. Under his guidance LGT has committed to population health management and has been appointed as the integrator for Lewisham. Recent achievements include working in partnership with a local GP forum to win the contract to provide a UTC for Bexley patients and, and also the virtual wards contract for Lewisham. In 2024, Ben pioneered a new approach to reducing bed days by working with partners and funding innovative new approaches to supporting safe patient discharge and onward care, which is now being expanded. An early supporter of community- based diagnostics, Ben’s team also run services from two new CDCs that are greatly improving local access. Prior to being appointed to LGT, Ben was chief executive at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. Under his leadership, Oxleas achieved an impressive CQC rating of good or outstanding across every single service domain while remaining in financial balance. Ben started his Oxleas tenure as Director of Finance, a position he held for four years, becoming acting chief executive officer before being given the substantive CEO role. Ben has held previous senior positions within both the NHS and the business services sector, and as a trained Management Accountant, is committed to financial rigour and accountability, consistently delivering within budget at LGT.

  • Caroline Owusu-Bennoah

    Chief Financial Officer

    She joins us following more than five successful years in post as Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

  • Dr Mehool Patel

    Chief Medical Officer

    A longstanding member of the Trust, Dr Patel has been with LGT since 2003 as Consultant Physician in General, Geriatric & Stroke Medicine. He has held several key leadership roles in his time at LGT, including Acting Chief Medical Officer. As his professional home for over 20 years, Mehool knows LGT inside out and has a wealth of local and professional insight and experience.

  • Dr Neil Goulbourne

    Chief Strategy, Partnerships & Transformation Officer & Deputy Chief Executive

    Dr Goulbourne has a wide and varied NHS and private sector career and brings a wealth of strategic insight and experience to the role at LGT. He served as a GP and Junior Doctor for over a decade in London and the West Midlands before moving into senior leadership roles in the private healthcare sector. Neil returned to the NHS in 2015 as Deputy Director, Strategy for NHS England, and has since worked at GSTT and Croydon in senior roles in strategy and improvement.

  • Dr Satnam Sagoo

    Chief People Officer

    Satnam is a strategic, board-level leader with experience spanning the NHS, wider public sector, and international humanitarian organisations. She began her career as a Public Health Consultant and has since held senior roles at local, national and global levels, bringing a broad system perspective to her work. She focuses on shaping high-performing, inclusive organisations where leadership is visible and accountable, and teams are enabled to deliver consistently high-quality care. Her work centres on aligning culture, leadership and delivery to drive sustainable improvement at scale. Prior to joining LGT, Satnam was Chief People Officer at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, where she led one of the largest People and Culture transformations in the NHS, including the integration of multiple organisations into a single Trust. Satnam holds a PhD in Food Microbiology and is a Fellow of the CIPD and the Learning and Performance Institute. She is proud to be part of Team LGT and is committed to building a culture where people feel they belong, can thrive and deliver outstanding care for the communities they serve. She believes that how we lead, how people feel at work, and the cultures we create directly shape the care we provide.

  • Kate Anderson

    Chief of Staff

    Kate joined the Trust in 2015 and spend several years in senior leadership roles within the Trust’s finance team. In 2019, Kate was appointed to the Trust Board as its Chief of Staff. In this role, Kate leads the Trust’s arrangements for effective corporate governance and has executive responsibility for a range of corporate functions, these currently include risk management, health and safety, information governance and legal services. Kate represents the Trust on the East and South East London Pathology Partnership Board and, as an Executive Director, is a champion for the Trust’s LGBTQ+ staff network.

  • Louise Crosby

    Chief Nurse

    After qualifying in 1986, Louise worked as a nurse at Whittington Health NHS Trust, Barts Health NHS Trust and St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, specialising in cardiology. She has held a number of senior positions and was Director of Nursing at Newham University Hospital for Barts Health NHS Trust before joining Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. Prior to this, she was Director of Nursing at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, which achieved a rating of “Outstanding” from the Care Quality Commission.

  • Miranda Jenkins

    Chief Operating Officer

    Miranda has 20 years’ experience in operations, service improvement and strategy, spanning hospital and community services, clinical networks and the voluntary sector. Before joining the Trust, Miranda was Deputy Director of the Evelina London Clinical Group at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT). Miranda joined the NHS as a graduate trainee and has always worked in south east London, including 12 years at GSTT and six years at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

  • Anna King

    Non-Executive Director

    Anna is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ experience advising and working with public and private healthcare organisations, as well as companies working with the NHS. Anna is the Commercial Director of the Health Innovation Network South London (HIN), and has been instrumental in establishing HIN at the forefront of the spread and adoption of innovation in the NHS. She is responsible for the design, development and delivery of the DigitalHealth.London programmes, including the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator, Launchpad and Generator programmes. Anna was previously Chair of the Finance Audit and Risk Committee of SBRI Healthcare Board, and well as currently being on the Board of the NHS Innovation Accelerator, Advisory Board of Q at The Health Foundation and Good Thinking (the digital mental health and wellbeing platform for the people of London). Anna qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and spent 13 years working in corporate finance and audit.

  • Dr Pui-Ling Li

    Non-Executive Director

    She has held a number of Board and Executive Director level roles in the NHS and in Government Departments including Chief Medical Officer and Chief Scientist in Department for Work & Pensions. She has extensive experience in raising the quality of health care in primary and secondary care settings and is always looking for an innovative approach to deliver better health outcomes. She has also mixed her professional career with a variety of roles in the charitable sector. She has an enduring commitment to front line clinical practice and in 2020 returned to practice as a GP in the East End of London.

  • Godfrey Allen

    Non-Executive Director

    The former (founding) Chair of South Thames Colleges Group, Godfrey remains a NED at two international non-governmental organisations, including the International Association of Youth & Family Judges & Magistrates. Godfrey has held CEO and MD roles in the public, private and charitable sectors since he was 27. He holds a MSc in Public Service Management and is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, Chartered Institute of Management and the RSA.

    During his professional career Harry was involved in the financing of critical UK infrastructure from 1994. Harry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Services from London Guildhall University. He is also Governor of a local Primary School (Tatsfield) and Chairman of Dartford Cricket Club.

  • Professor Jane Harrington

    Associate Non-Executive Director

    Jane joined the trust as an associate NED in January 2026. The commitment of the team to provide high quality health provision across all areas of health and the depth of expertise has been extremely impressive. Since December 2019 Jane has been the Vice Chancellor and CEO of the University of Greenwich. She is responsible for a large organisation with a £340 million turnover, 32,000 students and more than 2500 staff operating across four sites and with significant overseas partnerships. Greenwich’s transnational portfolio is diverse and extensive. Prior to this Jane was Deputy Vice chancellor and Provost at University of the West of England, having previously been the PVC and Executive Dean for Business and Law there. Her background is in employment studies. She has held senior leadership positions for 20 years. Her focus has always been on improving young people’s lives regardless of their backgrounds and her experience running large organisations has given her a wide range of skills in leadership, transformational change, managing large and complex estates and financial management in a constrained environment.

  • Will Tuckley

    Non-Executive Director

    Will has been the Chair of a large housing association, led the London Serious Youth Violence Board and was responsible for the alcohol theme for the London Mayor’s London Health Improvement Board. Will chaired the London Chief Executives Group for three years and was for many years the lead London borough Chief Executive for health. He chaired the London Health Devolution Programme Board, co-chaired the London Health & Care Strategic Partnership Group and advised the London Health Board and Local Government Association.
