  • Amanda Pithouse

    Chief Nurse

    Amanda qualified as a mental health nurse in 1993 and spent much of her early clinical career in adult acute mental health in both inpatient and community services, holding a number of nursing leadership positions within South London and Maudsley NHS Trust. She also has an extensive academic background, completing the prestigious Florence Nightingale Foundation Leadership Scholarship, an MSc in Leadership and Healthcare Improvement at London Southbank University, and is also a trained Improvement Advisor from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. Amanda helped to lead Barnet, Enfield and Haringey NHS Trust from ‘Requires Improvement' to ‘Good' at their 2019 Care Quality Commission inspection and again in February 2022.

  • Dr Cornelius Kelly

    Chief Medical Officer

    Con got his medical qualification in Ireland 30 years ago before moving to train in Psychiatry in London. He spent eight years as a psychiatrist for Older Adults in City and Hackney, where he also had a number of other roles including Clinical Director for older adult services, Medical Director and Chair of Medical Staff Committee. For a number of years Con had a close association with the Alzheimer's Society primarily enabling carers. Since joining CNWL in 2001 he has been Clinical Director for Older Adults and Acute Services, Divisional Medical Director and three years ago became Chief Medical Officer for the Trust.

  • Graeme Caul

    Chief Operating Officer

    Graeme joined our services in Camden in 2010 and has held a range of senior leadership roles across the Trust, including Managing Director of two divisions and Deputy Chief Operating Officer. As Chief Operating Officer, Graeme is accountable for operational performance, quality and delivery across the Trust's community and mental health services, working closely with the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Nursing Officer. He has responsibility for a number of significant programmes within the Trust and across London through the Cavendish Square Group, with a clear focus on system leadership, integration and continuous improvement.

    He joins the People Directorate at CNWL, encompassing recruitment, staff wellbeing, leadership development, and workforce resourcing. With a background in human resources and leadership, Nick has previously worked across a range of sectors including local authority, social care, education, transportation, food retail and the BBC. Before coming to CNWL, he led the HR department for high street brand Dunelm.

  • Ross Graves

    Chief Strategy and Digital Officer

    Ross is responsible for Strategy and Digital portfolios across CNWL as well as leading a number of programmes and workstreams across our three ICS footprints. He is CNWL's executive lead for BLMK and a member of the BLMK Integrated Care Board. Previously Ross led NHS Southwark CCG and was joint SRO for Community-based Care (primary and community) across South East London ICS. Prior to joining the NHS, Ross co-founded Prederi, the award-winning public sector management consultancy, now part of BearingPoint, where he ran the firm's NHS practice and worked with NHS and local authority clients across London and the South East. Ross started his career working with the global technology firm Accenture and spent his early career working with a number of private sector organisations including Royal and SunAlliance, Orange, BP and Unilever.

  • Tom Shearer

    Chief Finance Officer

    Tom is the executive lead for finance, business intelligence and the Trust's Charity, as well as QTS, our Estates and Facilities wholly-owned subsidiary. He is a chartered Management Accountant, and has worked in various roles in NHS finance for the last 13 years. Prior to joining CNWL, he was the Site Chief Financial Officer at St George's Hospital in Tooting. He joined the NHS on the National Graduate Management Training Scheme and has worked in a number of organisations within London and the East of England including acute, specialist, and community providers.

  • Amanda Rowlatt CBE

    Vice Chair

    Amanda is an experienced Government economist, and was until recently Chief Analyst at the UK Department for Transport. Previous roles include Chief Analyst at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, and Chief Economist at the Department for Work and Pensions, the Competition Commission, and the Office for National Statistics. Amanda was a member of the CNWL Board from 2014 to 2017. She is currently Deputy Chair of Brunel University, and is on the Council of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research and of the Society of Professional Economists.

  • Dr Muhammed Ali

    Non-Executive Director

    Background and experience: He is a GP in Brent and former senior executive in a Life Science company. He holds a blend of clinical, commercial and managerial board expertise and has worked in CNWL in the past. Dr Ali has worked in a number of commissioner roles and has had strong involvement in strategic health care planning for London, and was the National Commissioning Champion working with the Department of Health, shaping healthcare legislation. Dr Ali promotes social inclusion and has a strong clinical interest in mental health, supporting refugees and the homeless. He lives in North London with his wife, who is a GP, two school-aged children and a cat.

  • Ian Mansfield

    Non-Executive Director

    Prior to joining CNWL, Ian held many roles with Baker Hughes, an oil services company, including Operations Director, Materials Director and Commercial Director, during which he was responsible for business transformation projects and technology governance. He served as Chair of Richmond CVS until October 2019, providing infrastructure support for all charity, community and voluntary activity in Richmond upon Thames, improving local health and wellbeing, and leading on health related initiatives such as Community Independent Living Services and Social Prescribing.

  • Meenakshi Anand

    Non-Executive Director

    Meena is an experienced Human Resources professional. Most recently she was the Managing Director and Chief HR Officer for a 30,000 strong financial services organisation based out of Malaysia. Returning home in June 2020, Meena now enjoys a portfolio career which includes being a Trustee of a multi academy trust, the Non-Executive Director of a housing association and the Board Advisor for an HR publication based in Asia. In addition to her Board work, Meena is an active Career Coach with a particular interest in working with neurodiverse people and those early on in their careers.

  • Michael Parker CBE

    Non‑Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee

    Michael brings decades of senior leadership experience across the NHS and wider public sector, supported by his professional background as a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). His extensive experience spans NHS Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care Board, King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust and national bodies including the Food Standards Agency, NHS Appointments and NHS Employers. A founding member of King's Health Partners , Michael has long been recognised for his contributions to corporate governance, risk management, equality, diversity and inclusion and public service. His work has shaped frameworks still used across the NHS today.

  • Paul Streets CBE

    Non-Executive Director

    Background and experience: Paul chairs the CNWL Charity and CNWL Quality Committee, is a member of the BBC Appeals Advisory Committee and was a Visiting Professor at Bayes University, Centre for Charity Effectiveness from 2018-2024. Prior to CNWL he has extensive Non Executive experience in the NHS and Charity sector, including as Vice Chair of the HealthCare Commission (the predecessor to CQC); Chair of the NHS/DoH Rare Diseases Advisory Group, and Chair of Contact a Family. From 2013 to 2024 he was Chief Executive of the Lloyd's Bank Foundation, an independent charity funded by Lloyds Bank supporting 1000s of small local charities across the UK; after a career in the voluntary and public sector and work in International development (Sight Savers), Human Rights (Amnesty International), professional and service regulation and health and social care. He was Chief Executive of Diabetes UK; the Health Development Agency and the Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board. Immediately prior to the Foundation he worked as a Senior Civil Servant in the Department of Health heading up Public and Patient Engagement and Experience. In 2003 he was appointed an OBE for services to people with diabetes, and a CBE in the 2025 New Years Honours for Services to the Voluntary Sector. Paul has three children and lives in East Sussex, but hails from North Yorkshire.

  • Professor Deenan Pillay

    Non-Executive Director

    Professor Deenan Pillay has extensive experience of the Healthcare sector and is a professor of virology with a background as both a practitioner and leader in healthcare. As a chair of Independent SAGE, Deenan is experienced in public engagement and communication. He has experience as a NED for UCL North Middlesex hospital and is actively engaged in NHS service delivery and the future shape of NHS services. His experience will be a valuable asset on matters such as Health inequalities and the delivery of high quality care.
